We are truly trying to make a difference in these animals' lives. However it is not easy, you need housing, supplies, workers, food and much more. We are looking to get our 501c3 and rescue any animals in need and give them a place to call home.

We currently have a location in mind but need help from the community. Our mission is no animal left behind. This will be a no kill shelter and will take any animals in need.

There are so many kill shelters out there and rescues that have plenty of space but turn animals away, we do not believe in that.

I have always loved animals and cannot stand the thought of them getting hurt, we are trying to make a difference one paw at a time.

Who are Kitty & Red?

I’ve loved animals since I could remember. I grew up with cats but always wanted a dog growing up. Unfortunately, my dad was allergic.

RED

It wasn't until a couple years ago that I started watching a coworkers puppies and chickens (now I consider her family) for the summer to get my “puppy fix”

I fell in LOVE with her dogs. Obsessed doesn't even do it justice. I loved them so much. Like they were my own. She had 2 litters of puppies and I was so honored that I was able to care for one of them and take her home - Red. I couldnt imagine life without her.

Kitty

Me & my husband are huge “that 70's Show” fans. We always joked he was Red & I was KItty. We said if we ever got a cat we would name her Kitty.

A week after we moved into our first house, we were asked if we wanted to take a little 7lbs torti cat. My husband said only if that cats name is Kitty - so I asked, “whats the cats name” and sure enought it was Kitty. I went & picked her up the next day and she became family immediately. Kitty is the light of my life, I would do anything for that cat - seriously.

Kitty & Reds Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is looking to become a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming the abandoned, sick, and injured animals around our city.

We are looking for help to find the perfect location to support these animals in need.

Boarding

Going on a trip for a long weekend? Need a safe place for your babies to stay. Look no further - we offer boarding services 24/7.

Fostering and Adoption

We help our rescues find their temporary and forever homes.

Spend a night under the stars

Worried about taking a precious animal home? For a fee you can rent a camp space on our property to spend the night with your fuzzy friend to clear any worries you may have.
